Queen Anne Style Shell Carved Wingback Armchair - A reproduction wingback armchair in the Queen Anne style featuring a tall, arched back with flared wings and scrolled arms. The frame is constructed of dark-stained hardwood, possibly mahogany. The chair is upholstered in a cream-colored fabric with a repeating diamond lattice and dot pattern, including a loose, piped seat cushion. The piece stands on two front cabriole legs decorated with carved shell motifs at the knees and terminating in pad feet. The two rear legs are square in section and raked.
