A Pair of Large Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Baby Pillows - A pair of large-scale decorative porcelain figurines modeled as infants in the form of traditional Chinese baby pillows. The prone figures are depicted in complementary crawling poses with their heads supported by their hands. One infant is adorned with a hand-painted blue underglaze loincloth featuring floral patterns, while the other is draped with a large, stylized blue lotus leaf across its back. Both figures feature traditional hairstyles with twin top-knots, detailed facial features, and painted blue bracelets and anklets. The cream-toned glaze displays a fine, uniform crazing over the entire surface. Each figure contains three circular vent holes on the underside and small venting holes in the ears. 15 x 9 x 10 inches roughly.
