A Pair of Large Late 19th Century Patinated Iron and Turned Brass Candlesticks - A pair of tall mixed-metal candlesticks featuring dark-patinated cast iron and turned brass components. The design consists of a flared candle cup with a scalloped rim atop a slender cylindrical stem. The stem is punctuated by a central bulbous brass knop and features brass collars at the top and bottom. Each piece rests on a substantial, domed base exhibiting lobed or gadrooned detailing throughout. The construction is hollow-cast with an internal threaded rod assembly visible on the underside.
