Chippendale Style Mahogany Tilt-Top Piecrust Side Table - A mahogany tilt-top side table or candle stand constructed in the Chippendale style. The solid mahogany top features a decorative raised piecrust edge. The top is mounted on a hinged mechanism with a brass spring catch, enabling it to be locked in a horizontal position or tilted vertically for storage. The top is supported by a turned baluster-form pedestal resting on a tripod base with three cabriole legs terminating in snake feet.
