A Pair of Neoclassical Style Patinated Metal Figures of Cherubs on Ebonized Plinths - A pair of patinated metal sculptures executed in the neoclassical style, depicting dynamic winged cherubs or putti. One figure is shown looking over its shoulder with a quiver of arrows strapped to its back, while the other holds a billowing drape over its head and across its body. Both figures are mounted on textured, rocky-ground cast metal bases, which are further set upon ebonized, tiered circular wooden plinths. The figures feature a dark brown patina with lighter rubbing on the high points to accentuate the musculature and drapery. Marks are present on the textured metal bases but are not clearly legible. 15 inches high each.
