The work is executed in a representational style with visible brushwork and a moody color palette. It is housed in a stained wood frame featuring a double-bead profile with dark inlay. A signature is present in white paint in the upper right quadrant, appearing to begin with a capital letter S, though it is not clearly legible. The reverse shows the canvas mounted on standard wooden stretchers. 26.5 x 32.5 inches.
