King Size Traditional Carved Hardwood Four Poster Bed - A King size four-poster bed crafted from stained hardwood. The piece features a high-impact traditional design influenced by Continental and French Provincial styles. The headboard is constructed with an arched top rail surmounted by a central, high-relief carved crest featuring a stylized shell and scrolling acanthus leaf motif. The body of the headboard consists of three recessed vertical panels and is flanked by two turned and fluted posts terminating in ball-and-steeple finials. The footboard features a scalloped serpentine lower apron and two substantial posts with thick fluted central sections, turned bases, and oversized matching finials. The bed utilizes a bolt-together assembly with circular brass covers concealing the bolt holes on the exterior of the posts. A modern quilted mattress is included.
