Chippendale Style Mahogany Corner Cupboard - Believed to be Owen Suter's Furniture but did not find official marking. Chippendale style corner cupboard in mahogany with a dark reddish-brown high-gloss finish. The upper section features a projecting molded cornice over two inset paneled blind doors that open to an interior with three fixed shelves. The lower section consists of two matching paneled doors opening to a two-shelf interior. The cupboard is fitted with eight solid brass H-style butterfly hinges and inset keyhole escutcheons. The unit is supported by a shaped bracket base with a decorative scalloped apron. The interior features a lighter contrasting wood grain. No maker mark is present. 42 x 26 x 80.5 inches.
