Pennsylvania House Queen Anne Style Cherry Bachelors Chest - A bachelors chest manufactured by Pennsylvania House, designed in the Queen Anne style. The piece is constructed from cherry primary wood with a reddish-brown finish and light hardwood secondary wood. The rectangular top features a molded edge and sits above a configuration of three drawers, with two small drawers over one full-width drawer. All drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery and are fitted with cast brass batwing-style backplates and bail pulls. The case is finished with a decoratively scalloped apron and stands on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The interior side of a drawer is branded with an oval mark identifying the maker as Pennsylvania House. 24 x 16 x 24 inches.
