Chippendale Style Mahogany Ribbon Back Armchair - A mahogany open armchair designed in the Chippendale style. The chair features a pierced back splat in a ribbon-back design under a shaped crest rail with a central carved foliate motif and scrolled ears. The open arms are curved with scroll grips and supported by shaped arm stumps. The padded seat is upholstered in a cream-colored fabric with a large floral pattern in shades of pink, orange, and green. The chair is supported by square front legs with vertical fluting and raked square rear legs, all joined by an H-form stretcher. Clear plastic glides have been added to the feet.
