Renaissance Revival Style Carved Wood Curule-Base Low Table - A Renaissance Revival style carved wood low table featuring a rectangular top with an inset leather or leatherette central panel. The ends of the tabletop are flanked by raised galleries with pierced oval hand-holds and scrolled acanthus leaf carvings. The piece is supported by a Curule-form X-frame base with scrolled terminals and foliate carvings. The legs are joined by a central turned and carved stretcher. The wood has a warm brown finish with simulated distressing throughout, including factory-applied wormholes and surface wear.
