Paul Landry (Canadian/American, 1931-2018) 'Rose Fence' (Signed) - Originally purchased for $1,000.00 USD. An original oil wash painting titled Rose Fence by Paul Landry. The composition depicts a woman and a young child walking along a dirt path toward a coastal horizon featuring two sailboats. The left foreground is bordered by a white picket fence with red climbing roses under a large canopy of trees. The work is signed Paul Landry in the lower right corner. It is presented in a gilt molded frame with a layered matting system consisting of a linen-textured primary mat, a reddish-brown inner border, and a gold-tone fillet. The verso of the frame retains an artist biographical slip and a gallery label from Village Gallery identifying the piece as an original oil/wash.
