A Trio of Thai Gilt Brass Teppanom Musician Figures - A set of three seated musician figurines, likely produced in Thailand during the mid to late 20th century. Each figure is crafted from cast brass or bronze, featuring a chemically-applied green verdigris patina on the exposed skin surfaces and gold-toned gilding on the clothing, jewelry, and instruments. The figures represent celestial beings or temple musicians in traditional Thai attire, including pointed chada headdresses, elaborate necklaces, armlets, and patterned lower garments. Each figure is depicted playing a different traditional instrument: a flute-like wind instrument, a small hand drum, and a circular gong held in a frame. The figurines are posed in varied seated positions on integral, flat bases. The undersides of the bases are unfinished, showing the rough texture of the metal casting.
