A Collection of Grindley Marlborough Royal Petal 'Connaught' Dinnerware and Decorative Ceramic Ornaments - A collection of ceramic tableware by Grindley, in the 'Marlborough Royal Petal Connaught' pattern, comprising a large scalloped-rim dinner plate displaying a vibrant polychrome floral and bird design in the center, surrounded by a wide dark red and gold-accented floral border; an oblong serving dish or tray adorned with scattered polychrome floral motifs; and a small plate with a green and gold bird and floral motif, bearing the backstamp 'MARLBOROUGH, ' 'ROYAL PETAL, ' 'GRINDLEY, ' 'ENGLAND.' Also included in the collection are one additional small plate with a dark green patterned border, and a group of four small, white, footed ceramic ornaments, each topped with a delicate pink or peach ceramic rose-like flower and green leaves.
