John Widdicomb Louis XVI Style Round Side Table - A John Widdicomb Louis XVI Style round occasional table crafted from wood, exhibiting a neoclassical revival design. It features a dark-finished, possibly veneered, circular top with a noticeable radial grain pattern, above a painted and gilded frieze. The table stands on four tapering, fluted legs, painted an off-white or pale gray-green with gilt highlights, connected by a shaped, cruciform lower shelf or x-stretcher. A faint, illegible numerical marking, possibly ”172”, is visible within a decorative panel on the frieze.
