Attributed to Noah North (1809-1880). Oil on one piece poplar panel, 39" high, 32" wide overall. Illustrated in Carl Dreppard. American Pioneer Art & Artists. 1942, page 114. Upper left. Accompanied by a copy of Dreppard and various biographical information.
Provenance: Senator Coolidge, Massachusetts, by descent in the family to Helen Coolidge Woodring. Purchased by Alyce Smith, Topeka, Kansas.
