Lithograph of 1845 Washington Monument Design.
Original design proposed by Robert Mills, Architect, with facsimile signatures of many presidents and politicians. Lithograph presented to Moses Paul, Esq. in 1850 for his donation for the construction. 26 x 18.5 inches, in a walnut frame. The circular colonnaded building at the base of the original design was eliminated because of expense and only the obelisk was built.
