Carved Whale Ivory, Bone, Baleen and Silver Walking Stick, 1860-70. - The turned knob picked out with banding in red ink, above two baleen spacers and a dotted diamond, the shank applied or inlaid with tapered and dot panels reserved on whalebone and mounted with a silver collar engraved with rococo scrolls, whalebone shaft. Length 35 inches.
