Folks, this is the jug that started it all to get southern folk pottery to the National Stage and across museums across the country, Cagle Auction is privileged to auction this historic Cheever Meaders Jug. This is once in a lifetime that No other auction house has done before, this is simply the best of the best in Meaders Pottery. Don't Not Miss this example, more than likely it will never surface in my career again. There is no more, again this is your chance to own history. Purchased from Cheever by Ralph Rinzler of the Smithsonian Institution on his first trip to meet Cheever in Feb. 1967. Of supreme historical significance. Folks the is the jug that got southern folk pottery on the map (National attention) Also note this jug has the Coca Cola Bottle Glaze, which is highly sought-after.
