North Carolina Reinhardt-Ritchie Shop Jug Lot - North Carolina Reinhardt-Ritchie Shop Jugs circa both 1890-1900s. These are two outstanding fluid jugs with great alkaline glazes. The half gallon is strong attribution to the Luther Seth Richie shop based off the forms of chiastic to the body and handle and lip attachment. Has one area mid lower section of the body where you can see glaze crawling from direct flame in the kiln. Also not the quartz through out the jug. Second jug is a Reinhardt one gallon jug that is just exceptional. The glaze is mature, with a rich illustrious medium forest green with quartz rock in the body. Both vessels are mint with no chips, cracks or repairs. Fresh from a South Florida collection. Half Gallon jug stands 9 1/4” Tall Second jug stands 11” Tall Condition: Both are in Mint condition.
