Signed H. H. Hewell Winder Ga. Pottery Churn/Jar - Important Signed H. H. Hewell Winder Ga Pottery lot of two stamped pieces H. H. Hewell Winder Ga RFD 20 Circa 1890s Barrow Co. Some of the most sought after pieces ever made by the Hewell Dynasty. These are farm fresh from Barrow Co. and this is the first time these two pieces have left the farm. I chose to keep these lots together because I feel they should stay since they have been together all their life, and would be a shame to see them split up. After all this is the second lot and only third example that Cagle Auction has ever offer of a signed H.H. Hewell.This is what makes hunt pottery hunt worth while with these two exmples out of Winder Georgia. Born 1869 - 1937 One is a fine slip glazed preserve jar with a strong stamp at the base and is in great original condition, has a small tight firing line in rim nothing major, no repairs. The Second is a three gallon stamped H.H. Hewell Winder Ga. RFD 20 The churn is again farm fresh example and these never have been seen until now. The churn is in slip glaze and has a great stamp.
