Fine Rare CS Kline Atlanta 2gal Clown Face Churn - Fine Rare Kline Atlanta 2gal Clown Face Churn Charles S. Kline Born ( 1854 - 1917 ) Ohio This is a fine example of Charles Kline stamped 2 & Howells Mills GA. on the rim of the jar. The jar is circa 1883-1886 and is in a salt glaze with great cobalt clown decoration, and a 2 with two decorative scrolls at the top shoulder. These are highly sought after examples and this one being in great condition puts this one in a higher category. The jar has no repairs. It has some minor wear chips under the lug handle and a few on the rim. One small stress line about a inch long in the rim, Nothing major. Also no hair line cracks. Standing 11 1/2” Tall
