Fine Lanier Co 1/2 Gallon Signed TImmerman Jug - Fine Lanier Co 1/2 Gallon Signed Timmerman Jug This is another great example of a signed ”T” jug out of the private collection from Stockton Georgia. Circa 1880-1890's This example has a killer mossy green lively alkaline glaze that is fired to perfection. The jug is a highly sought after form being a dome top with a blob top lip. The handle is stamped ” T ” and very clear. This jug was noted in the Georgiana Greer Collection and is marked with her sticker on the base of the jug with ( FP 304 G ). The jug is a fresh example is is in overall very good condition. It has a rock pop in the top shoulder and caused a stress line about a inch and a half. This is Not a hairline crack, but caused from the rock and is water tight. This will make a warm welcome to any addition in southern stoneware collection. This example has No repairs. Has one glaze chip in edge of the handle. Standing 9” Tall
