Fine Decorated 2 Gal Lanier Co. Churn - Fine decorated two gallon Lanier Co. Churn that has a dark roasted honey colored alkaline glaze. This example is marked with wavy line decoration and has a 2 marked sideways at the base. Note again the very small petite handles on this jar likely from a child or female learning the craft at the time, or made for a female. Has a very small glaze chip in rim and a few very minor glaze flakes, nothing major. No major chips, cracks or repairs. Great addition to any southern collection.
