Fine Billy Merritt Crawford Co. 3 Gallon Jug - Fine Billy Merritt Crawford Co. 3gal Jug This is a great Billy Merritt (1861 - 1929) Crawford Co. three gallon wood fired ash glazed that has a high glassy alkaline glaze with strong earthy rich greens, and the handle has a fancy 3 stamped on it. The jug is a fresh pick from a Jackson Co. home in fact from the same house where lot 29a came from. Condition is fantastic condition with only one minor flea bite in the lip, no major chips, cracks, or repairs. This is a great fresh example and will be a wonderful addition to any southern collection. Stands 14 1/2” Tall
