Crawford Co ”JBL” Long Shop Flower Pot Pitcher - Rare Crawford Co. ”JBL” Jesse Bradford Long Shop Flower Pot Pitcher This is a gem of a Crawford Co. Georgia flower pot pitcher or rice cooker. With a rich paint rock glaze and a classic JBL shop handle. This very well could be the works by potter Jesse Bradford Long ” JBL ”, the handles are so exact and would need to be signed to tell them apart. None the less its a fantastic example. The piece has a great paint rock glaze with drips running up the pitcher due to being fired upside down. The pitcher has one chip ( one inch ) on the side of the shoulder and a small glaze chip on the underside of the spout. Other than that their is no issues, cracks or repairs. Fresh example from a private Georgia collection. These flower pot pitcher are getting more and more scarce by the day and this one will make a great display on your collection. Standing 5 3/4” Tall x 9” Wide Circa 1840s
