Norman Smith Personal Door Stop Pitcher - Signed and dated Alabama potter Norman Smith of Lawley Ala. (1904-1990) Personal Door Stop Pitcher from 1924. This pitcher was bought from his personal estate. This is just a great piece due to the fact this coming from Norman Smith personal home and was used as his door stop. This piece has had kiln damage of a blowout at the base and this is why it was used as a door stop. Its in the classic slip glaze with scratched NE Smith 1924 and other wise its in very good condition. No repairs. From a South Carolina collection and is fresh to the market.
