Fine Signed "HNL" Henry Newton Long (1858-1907) Crawford Co. One Gallon Jug. From one of the most sought after pottery families the "Longs, " this is an outstanding runny alkaline glazed jug. The jug has a strong stamp and is just outstanding. The jug is stamped on the handle. Condition - has an edge glaze chip, lip chip, and a small glaze flake, which is typical from age and use. Does not distract from the eye appeal of this piece. Otherwise no condition issues, no cracks or repairs. Fresh example from a middle Georgia estate, standing 12 1/4" Tall
