Signed W.F. Hahn (1848-1906) Trenton, SC. 1 Gallon Fluid Jug Circa 1880s. Outstanding museum quality signed Hahn example with a glaze that is second to none. I challenge anyone to find another on this level. The jug bears a rich earthy medium olive brown base with a lime alkaline glaze that gives the two tone light and dark contrast that makes the lime glaze stand out. Strong stamp on top shoulder. Condition - near mint with two minor glaze flakes on shoulder of jug, no hairlines and no repairs and no other damage. This is good as it gets from a private southwest Atlanta area collection. Simply find another one. Standing 11" tall.
