Fine Lanier County Georgia Scarce Marked 'V” Timmerman 5gal Jar - Fine Lanier County Stockton, Georgia Scarce Marked ”V” Timmerman Shop Five Gallon Storage Jar. This is one eye appealing example with the second only known V mark in the rim. This is a true gem and a rare bird, a must for any Lanier collector. This jar has one of the loop handles missing and minor rim nicks on the rim edge. Typical of use and time period, 1890s. The jar is noteworthy in any collection, especially southern marks. No cracks or repairs and is worthy of a restoration or left alone. Again striking lime alkaline glaze that is fresh from a Texas collection.
