Edgefield, South Carolina, Signed Landrum Shop 2gal Jug - Stunning Edgefield, South Carolina, Landrum Jug Circa 1848-50s. This jug is two-gallon capacity with an ”I” marked in the double collar mouth and is slave made. The jug has an amazing highly glassy alkaline glaze. The jug has a classic loop handle and form. When it comes to condition, one cannot find a better collector-museum grade example. Fresh from an Atlanta collection. Standing 12 ½” Tall Condition: True gem mint ten condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The only issue which is insignificant is a hole drilled into the base and was made into a lamp. I do not consider this as damage due to being on the base and doesn't take away from the eye appeal factor.
