2006 Alex Gordon Wichita Wranglers Royals 1st Minor Rookie Card BGS 9.5 Gem Mint - You are bidding on a 2006 Wichita Wranglers Alex Gordon Rookie Card Graded by Beckett as a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint. He is pictured here in his Wichita Wranglers minor league uniform which is the AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. There were only 1000 of these sets produced by CHOICE which makes this one of Gordon's rarer cards. This was the first Alex Gordon minor league card produced as he spend his first three years with The Nebraska Corn Huskers.  It appears that Alex will be skipping AAA and going straight to 3rd base for The Kansas City Royals so this may be his only minor league team card.  This is one of the hottest cards in the market today. Alex Gordon has a great first season in the minor leagues this year and he is expected to be one of the top 2007 Rookie of the Year candidates next year. He tore up Double A this year at Wichita with a .325 Average, 29 HRs and over 100 RBI.  Here are some of his other major accomplishments so far in his young career.
