Type 1 AK Bayonet with Scabbard - A military bayonet manufactured for use with the AK-47 or AK-M pattern rifle. The bayonet features a stainless steel blade with a double-edged spear point and a central fuller extending along the midsection. The hilt is composed of black grooved synthetic grip scales secured by two screw-head fasteners, a blued steel crossguard incorporating a muzzle ring, and a hooked pommel containing a spring-loaded attachment mechanism. The bayonet is paired with its original black polymer scabbard and an olive drab canvas belt frog. An impressed mark on the obverse crossguard reads W 444717. The reverse crossguard bears a small impressed circular shield containing a Swiss federal cross. Overall length: 14.5 inches Blade length: 9.5 inches Scabbard length: 10.75 inches.
