WWII U.S. Navy VT-13 Torpedo Squadron Patch - World War Two U.S. Navy VT-13 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery on wool. Measures 5.5″ x3.5″. Established as Torpedo Squadron Thirteen VT-13 on November 1, 1943. The insignia was approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations – CNO on January 15, 1944. VT-13 was deployed on the USS Franklin and flew the TBF-1/TBM-3. Pickup is Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 am to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot, or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
