Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Unissued .45

A Pair of Unissued .45 Grease Gun M3 Magazines in Protective Waxed Wrapping - A pair of unissued Grease Gun (and famously MAC-10 originals) .45 ACP 30 rd magazines. Each unit is constructed from a rigid dark interior material encased in a heavy, brown-pigmented, textured wrapping. The protective outer layer appears to be a resin or wax-impregnated paper or fabric, featuring a distinctive corded or ribbed texture running horizontally along the length of the body. One end of each component is sealed with a folded-over wrap. The opposite end of one unit is open, revealing a black internal structure characterized by thin parallel dividers and a central cavity. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces of either item. The construction method suggests a design intended for moisture resistance and durability in field conditions, typical of specialized military stores or ordinance-related equipment.
