Eddystone M1917 Enfield Complete Bolt Assembly - A complete bolt assembly for a United States military M1917 Enfield rifle. This turn-bolt action component features characteristic rear-mounted locking lugs and a distinctive dog-leg bolt handle terminating in a spherical knob. The assembly includes a cocking piece with a knurled grasping surface. The bolt body is of cylindrical steel construction with a recessed bolt face that incorporates an integrated extractor and firing pin aperture. Several stamped markings are present on the metal components. The top surface of the bolt handle is struck with two capital letters, ”BF”, positioned above the numeric characters ”33”. The bolt shroud/safety assembly is marked on one side with the word ”SAFE” and on the opposing side with the word ”READY”. These markings are struck in plain sans-serif block characters. The interior of the bolt face shows evidence of mechanical use with visible carbon and grease residue. Overall length: 7.5 inches. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot, or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
