** C.J. Hamilton and Son Model 47 Bolt Action Rifle .22 Short and Long with 18.5 Inch Barrel - This is a C.J. Hamilton & Son Model 47 single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered for .22 caliber Short and Long cartridges. The firearm is equipped with an 18.5-inch round blued barrel featuring a fixed blade front sight and a leaf-style rear sight. The receiver is integrated with the barrel and utilizes a manual cocking piece at the rear of the bolt assembly. The action is mounted in a one-piece smooth wood stock with a semi-pistol grip and a straight comb. Key markings on the top of the barrel include the model designation NO. 47 and the caliber specification 22 CAL. S. & L. followed by the patent dates PAT. OCT. 30, 1900 - AUG. 9, 1910, and the manufacturer information C.J. HAMILTON & SON, PLYMOUTH, MICH. U.S.A. In-house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old and in qualifying configuration, or is specifically recognized by ATF as a Curio & Relic. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (or another type of FFL authorized to receive this firearm), we can ship it to you or hand it to you at pickup where lawful.
