* Browning BPS Field Pump Action Shotgun 20 Gauge with 28 Inch Barrel 1988 - This Japanese-manufactured Browning BPS Field is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 20-gauge shells, featuring a bottom-loading and bottom-ejecting design suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. The firearm is equipped with a 28-inch vent-rib barrel capable of accepting Invector chokes and is chambered for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The exterior is finished in a deep high-gloss bluing on the receiver and barrel, complemented by a gold-plated trigger. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut stock and forend with a high-gloss finish, terminating in a factory black synthetic buttplate. Markings on the left side of the barrel include INVECTOR BPS SPECIAL STEEL 20GA-2 3/4” AND 3” FIELD MODEL-28”, while the right side is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN. The serial number 41843PP162 is located on the underside of the receiver, with the PP code identifying 1988 production and the 162 code denoting the 20-gauge Hunter model. The top of the receiver and the vent rib are serrated to reduce glare. In-house shipping is available.
