** Soviet Izhevsk Arsenal M1895 Nagant Revolver 1944 - A Soviet M1895 Nagant seven-shot gas-seal revolver manufactured in 1944 at the Izhevsk Arsenal. The frame is constructed of blued steel and is fitted with two wooden grip panels featuring a coarse diamond checkering pattern. The right side of the frame bears a clear stamped mark consisting of a circle containing a triangle with an upward-pointing vertical arrow inside, positioned above the date 1944r. Forward of the cylinder on the left side of the frame, the serial number O L 6 1 5 is impressed. An additional numerical sequence 1 8 5 2 5 2 7 9 2 is present on the underside of the grip frame. The right side of the frame, above the trigger guard, features an impressed hexagonal mark. Several small inspection stamps are visible on various components: a C in a circle, a K in a circle, and a Y-shaped mark near the hammer; a Y or V mark on the interior of the trigger guard; and a 4 and a G or C in a circle on the lanyard ring base. The revolver is equipped with a military lanyard ring at the butt. Accompanying the firearm is a tan canvas cord lanyard featuring brown leather attachment loops and a metal spring clip. The barrel measures 4.5 inches in length. In-house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old and in qualifying configuration, or is specifically recognized by ATF as a Curio & Relic. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (or another type of FFL authorized to receive this firearm), we can ship it to you or hand it to you at pickup where lawful. Otherwise, we will have to ship to your receiving Federal Firearms License holder, or you will need to undergo a background check here when you pick up.
