** Brescia Carcano Model 91 Bolt Action Cavalry Carbine 6.5x52mm with 18 Inch Barrel - This Italian Carcano Model 91 (M91) Moschetto da Cavalleria is a bolt-action cavalry carbine chambered in 6.5x52mm. The firearm is equipped with an 18-inch barrel featuring an integral folding spike bayonet and is fitted with a fixed front sight and a graduated adjustable rear tangent sight. The receiver and barrel exhibit a blued finish, and the action is housed in a full-length wooden stock with a straight wrist and a metal buttplate. Key markings include the Brescia arsenal name and the original Italian military serial number E7674 stamped on the barrel shank. The barrel further displays the later importer-applied serial number CAR27558. The bolt handle is stamped with the number B8694, and the receiver bridge bears the Brescia designation. The left side of the buttstock features a circular arsenal cartouche containing the letters FAT over a date that has become obscured by wear. The trigger guard includes an integral magazine housing for use with six-round en-bloc clips. In-house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old and in qualifying configuration, or is specifically recognized by ATF as a Curio & Relic.
