** Izhevsk M44 Bolt Action Carbine 7.62x54R with 20.5 Inch Barrel 1945 - This Soviet M44 Mosin-Nagant carbine is chambered in 7.62x54R and was manufactured at the Izhevsk arsenal. The carbine features a 20.5-inch barrel equipped with an integral side-folding cruciform bayonet and a hooded front sight post paired with a tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters. The metal components exhibit a dark blued finish, while the hardwood stock is fitted with dual barrel bands, a straight wrist, and a steel buttplate. A green canvas sling with leather dog-collars is currently attached. The barrel shank is prominently marked with the Soviet hammer and sickle within a wreath, the manufacturing year 1945r, the Izhevsk arrow-in-triangle arsenal logo, and the Cyrillic serial number ЗХ2755. This serial number is matched on the bolt handle and the magazine floorplate. A secondary dot-matrix import mark on the receiver reads PW ARMS REDMOND WA / RUSSIAN m44 7.62x54r / SER. 002169. The stock displays various proof marks and stamps, including a diamond cartouche containing the number 87. In-house shipping is available.
