An Assortment of Approximately 84 lbs of Vintage and Contemporary Buttons and Sewing Notions - This is an extensive bulk collection comprising approximately 84 lbs of buttons and assorted sewing notions, housed within two large blue plastic storage tubs. The lot includes thousands of individual pieces in a wide variety of materials such as molded plastic, wood, glass, metal in gold and silver tones, fabric-covered styles, and shell. Much of the collection is pre-sorted into smaller containers including plastic storage bags, vintage metal tins, and glass jars. A significant portion of the collection consists of buttons still attached to their original retail backing cards. Legible brand names on these cards include Lansing Buttons, La Mode, Le Chic, Lucky Day, and Chic. One card is printed with the text MOTHER OF PEARL. Retail cards display various vintage price points including 25c and 50c. The collection features a diverse range of styles, from basic utility buttons to decorative novelty shapes and military-style crest buttons, including one example with an eagle and shield design. The buttons are stored in a variety of repurposed vintage containers. Visible markings on these containers include a red metal Hills Bros Coffee tin, jars with Kraft and Heinz labels, and a glass jar with the embossed characters P L A N T E R S. Beyond buttons, the lot contains other sewing notions such as a quantity of zippers, including one bag labeled GRIPPER ZIPPER, wooden embroidery hoops, spools of thread, and various beads. The lot is sold as a bulk assortment of components for crafting, repair, or collecting. Pickup is Wednesday, Sept. 16, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Blacklick, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $10 fee to bring this lot back to our warehouse in Lancaster, OH for shipping or alternative pickup. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling.
