Carved Mahogany Demilune Console Table with Lion Masks and Barley Twist Legs - An Indonesian carved mahogany demilune console table. The solid wood semicircular top sits above a deep apron featuring ornate hand-carved relief work. The central motif is a lion head mask enclosed in a circular rope border, surrounded by acanthus scrolls and heavy hanging swags of flowers and fruit. The outer shoulders are decorated with additional carved lion masks. The base consists of four barley twist legs featuring bead and reel detailing within the spirals, all resting on small bun feet. A white adhesive label on the interior frame is printed with the blue text MADE IN INDONESIA. 51 inches wide x 21.5 inches deep x 32.5 inches high.
