Pulaski Furniture Corporation Maximum Hospitality Collection Desk and Matching Chair - We will have this lot moved to the garage on ground level but you must load from there, bring help. A two-piece office set from the Maximum Hospitality collection by Pulaski Furniture Corporation, consisting of an ornate writing desk and a coordinating side chair. The pieces are finished in a distressed, antiqued parchment tone featuring hand-applied metallic silver-leaf accents on the decorative carved elements. The desk is constructed with a rectangular top over a three-drawer apron. The drawer fronts and the continuous frieze are decorated with relief-carved floral and foliate vine motifs. The desk is supported by four fluted legs with carved capitals and bases, joined by a wide, sweeping arched modesty panel. The drawers are fitted with darkened metal drop-handle pulls. The matching chair features an oval back with a large, openwork central splat carved with acanthus leaves and scrolls. The seat is padded and upholstered in a cream-colored damask fabric with a tone-on-tone scrolling floral pattern. The chair stands on tapered front legs and slightly splayed back legs, echoing the finish and decorative carving of the desk. A printed brand mark is located on the interior of a desk drawer (photo 5) within a horizontal oval border. The words MAXIMUM HOSPITALITY appear along the top arc, with a central square containing the lowercase letters pfc. The text below the square reads by Pulaski Furniture Corporation. 30 inches deep x 60 inches wide x 30 inches high. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Wednesday, Sept. 16 from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Blacklick, OH. No exceptions! No sales tax collected on this auction.
