Contemporary Custom Hand Forged Main Gauche Dagger and Leather Scabbard - This contemporary parrying dagger is designed in the historical main-gauche style. It features a tapered, double-edged steel blade with a prominent central ridge and a satin finish. The hilt consists of a large, hand-forged steel crossguard with two recurved, fluted, and serrated quillons. The grip is tightly wrapped in dark twisted cord and ends in a heavy, faceted star-shaped steel pommel. The construction shows visible welding where the guard meets the blade shoulder. Accompanying the dagger is a custom black leather scabbard detailed with brass-tone rivets along the seam, a leather securing lace, and a belt loop on the reverse. No maker marks or signatures are present on the item. Overall length: 13.75 inches Blade length: 8 inches Crossguard width: 4.75 inches. In-house shipping is available.
