Vintage 8-Pound Cast Iron and Steel Bench Anvil - This vintage bench anvil is constructed with a cast-metal body, likely iron, and features a welded steel faceplate. The traditional design includes a conical horn, a cutting step, and a flat working face with a single square hardy hole. One side of the waist displays a raised, cast numeral 8, likely denoting its weight in pounds. The opposite side of the waist features a triangular mark containing characters that are not clearly legible but appear to include the letters C and S.
