A Pair of Vintage Ohio Embossed Metal License Plates, 1940 and 1941 - This lot consists of two vintage embossed metal license plates from the state of Ohio. The first plate, dated 1941, features the license number X-111-K. It is designed with yellow embossed characters and a border set against a dark brown field. The lower edge of the plate is embossed with the text OHIO - 1941. It includes four circular mounting holes. The reverse side retains a reddish-brown paint finish. The second plate, dated 1940, features the license number X-443-J. This plate is designed with yellow-cream embossed characters and a border on a dark blue field. The lower edge is embossed with OHIO - 1940. It also features four circular mounting holes. The reverse side shows the original dark blue paint. Both plates show remnants of white adhesive tape in the upper corners on the reverse. Dimensions: 6 inches x 12 inches each.Shipping Available.
