Waltham Bond Street 7 Jewel Coin Silver Pocket Watch with Autocar Truck Dealer Fob - This antique pocket watch is manufactured by the American Waltham Watch Company. The movement is a Bond Street grade, featuring 7 jewels and a safety pinion. It is a manual stem-wind, pin-set mechanism with serial number 2711863, dating the manufacture to approximately 1885. The movement is engraved with Waltham, Mass., A.W.W. Co., 2711863, Safety Pinion, and Bond St. The watch is housed in a coin silver case (.900 fine silver) marked inside the back with A.W. CO., O'HARA PATENTS, DEC. 9. 84, COIN, and serial number 4633. Several hand-scratched jeweler service marks are visible on the inner rim, including one dated 11/16/11. The white porcelain enamel dial features black Roman numeral hour markers, a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position, and is printed with A. W. Co. near the center. Attached to the watch is a vintage promotional leather fob and metal tag for The Bracken Companies, an Autocar truck dealer with locations in Methuen, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire. The front of the tag depicts an embossed dump truck below the Autocar logo, and the reverse includes dealer contact information and a stylized F logo. Case size: American size 14.
