A. L. Jones Full-Size Violin, No. 23, Warren, Ohio, dated 1905 + two bows - An American full-size violin by maker A. L. Jones of Warren, Ohio. The instrument features a spruce top and a two-piece back, ribs, and neck constructed of highly flamed maple with a pronounced horizontal figure. It is equipped with an ebony fingerboard, tailpiece, and tuning pegs, and includes a black plastic chin rest. Two internal labels are visible: a printed label that reads A. L. JONES, VIOLIN MAKER, WARREN, OHIO, U. S. A., No. 23, 1905; and a handwritten label that reads No. 23, Made by A. L. Jones, Warren, Ohio 1905. The violin is accompanied by a vintage coffin-style shaped hardshell case with a black textured exterior and a purple plush-lined interior. Included accessories are a box of Hidersine No. 3V violin rosin, an extra wooden bridge, a metal mute, and a small metal adjustment tool.
