An Assortment of Decorative Ceramic Items Including Rookwood, Hull, and Masonic Commemorative Pieces - This collection consists of distinct ceramic items of varying origin and decorative style. Included is a large figural wall-hanging font or planter by Hull Pottery, depicting St. Francis of Assisi in a matte cream-colored glaze. The base of this piece features an incised script mark for Hull and the model number 89. A triangular decorative bracket or corner tile by Rookwood Pottery is finished in a variegated blue glaze with a relief fleur-de-lis motif; it bears an impressed Rookwood flame mark with a central RP monogram on the lower unglazed edge. Also present is a rectangular relief tray or plaque attributed to the East Trenton China Company, featuring a Happy Monks scene highlighted in blue glaze on a white ground, with an embossed intertwined ETCO monogram on the reverse. Completing the assortment is a square commemorative planter for the 1911 Masonic Imperial Council Meeting in Rochester, New York, representing the Syrian Shrine of Cincinnati, Ohio. The planter is decorated with hand-painted and transfer-printed imagery including the Syrian Shrine emblem and dates, accented with a green border and black relief studs.
